Directions from Mapplewell to our Barnsley base
Mapplewell is about 3 miles north of our Cheapside base, on the Wakefield road side of the villages above town. Bar Lane, George Street and Darton Lane are the streets we see most. Houses are village stone and later semis. Parking is usually the kerb or a short drive.
Staincross is the neighbour, and the library name covers both. The primary on George Street is Wellgate. Do not send us to Greenside Avenue unless the house really is in Staincross. Darton station is the train, a short hop west, and it is not a substitute for telling us which end of the village the door is on.
Postcodes are S75. Insurance is provided. Ask what is covered when you book. A full house wants the inventory. A single wardrobe and a bed can be a smaller van if the stairs are simple.
Our local team plans school-run parking on George Street if you are near Wellgate. See house removals, Staincross and Darton. Barnsley removals is at 29 Cheapside.
